This is a planning tool, not a substitute for training, certification, or sound judgment. Bühlmann and VPM-B are mathematical models — they predict tissue saturation under assumptions, they don't guarantee safety. Every dive carries real risk that no calculator removes.
Always dive within your certification level, your agency's limits, and your personal experience. Brief and execute with a buddy, know your bailouts, and if a plan looks aggressive, trust your training over the screen. If conditions degrade, call the dive.
If you're new to decompression diving, get certified first — software doesn't replace stage-by-stage instruction in the water.
